I have been having a couple of problems with my Apple SuperDrive that is built in to my 2010 iMac. Sometimes, when I put a disk in, it just spits it back out, and on other occasions in the DVD player, I get sound, but no video (just fray screen), I have also tried the USB Apple SuperDrive, and the Grey screen still appears, but as of yet I heave never had it just spit it out.
I was wondering, do you think a third party USB dvd reader, would work any better than the USB Apple SuperDrive, (is this an issue with the firmware).
Any answers would be much appreciated.
