Just a quick question..

Is it possible to chain a Thunderbolt Display and a Cinema Display through a single Thunderbolt port?

Lets say: iMac to Thunderbolt Display to Cinema Display.

According to Apple, you can only daisy-chain Thunderbolt equipped displays, but some people have reported getting the mDP displays and DP displays to work by adding another TB device after the TB display. It simply has to do with the way the TB display chooses to pass, or not pass, the DP signal.

So the "workaround" with adding another Thunderbolt device is not guaranteed to work or?
