I connected my imac to my samsung led. The top and bottom edges are cut off and I can not see the top menu bar. Ive messed around with settings on the mac and the samsung and can not figure it out. Is there a way to resize it to fit perfect?

If you know the native resolution of your screen, you should be able to set it with "Display Preferences".

Is your LCD a TV? Can it be scrolled through Wide-Cinema-Zoom-Normal?

There is something called Overscan (Display Preferences-Options) that perhaps you can mess with. Google overscan to see what it does.

Look for an overscan settings on the iMac (display preferences) and reduce it for the Samsung monitor.
