Hey all,

Im looking to connect my imac (intel core 2 duo) to my 46" Samsung LED TV for gaming, movies etc... Im sure its basic but can someone please tell me how to hook this up (with the least amount of cables, my TV is on top of a mantle above the fireplace, so cords are a hassle). The TV is HDMI/DVI etc...

Thanks in advance!

What iMac do you have (have to be more specific than just C2D as so many generations have used C2D)?

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac7,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
Boot ROM Version: IM71.007A.B01
SMC Version (system): 1.20f4
Serial Number (system): 73805D5JX86
Hardware UUID: 00000000-0000-1000-8000-001B63AC08BC

if that helps?

Your iMac has a mini DVI output, so get a mini DVI to DVI or HDMI adapter and then run the cable to your TV.
