I received a 2010 iMac from someone awhile back. He was having some issues with it and didn't want to bother fixing it. Before giving it to me he had taken out the hard drive to destroy it. I put in a SSD myself which was not an Apple hard drive..

Fast forward to now.. They are offering me $170 for it. The questionnaire asks if it turns on and works (which it does) and if the enclosure has any swelling or anything (which it does not). My question is.. will they accept it and give me the trade in amount even though the hard drive was swapped out? Also, if they deem it "unacceptable" will they send it back to me? If they are not going to give me anything for it I would like to have it back instead of just donating it to them... Not sure if anyone else has used their program before, but thought I would ask..

Thanks

Got to apple store or give them a call.
I went to get a new phone this weekend and they took my old device on the spot.
