I have this exact machine: http://store.apple.com/us/product/FC508LL/A?mco=MjEwNTc0Njc

Someone wants to trade his Feb 2011 13" MacBook Pro i5 for it. Is this a good trade for me? I realize I'm comparing a desktop and laptop, but with that aside, does this seem okay?

From value standpoint, you would be the winner. Your iMac is previous gen and cost $1199 back then. The MBP is current gen and also costs $1199. If you want MBP, then the trade is of course good.

Good deal, thanks. And sorry about the duplicate post.

The Pro has lower specs... the integrated graphics card as well. What do you use the machine for? If you just edit documents and watch video; things like that, then yea, if you want to go for it, go for it.
