Hey guys iv got a 2011 imac with only one thunderbolt port, i need to hook up 2 additional monitor displays ( one monitor either side of my iMac ) as i do music production and would help me out greatly! also need them to work flush simultaniously so NO mirroring! ... doesnt matter the additional monitors inputs as i havnt bought them yet, DVI,VGA,USB,HDMI doesnt matter as long as it workd fine and no lag ....thanks guys im sure some hero can help ;)

Sorry. You can daisy-chain devices on the Thunderbolt port, but only one display per chain is going to work. You need the 27" model for triple monitors.

You *could* buy a DisplayLink USB device for the third display. I tried this route for awhile on my 2010 iMac. It isn't very good, though, since it doesn't support OpenGL. The third display's graphics are hence very poor, and it ends up slowing down coreanimation for the whole display. I eventually gave up and just stuck with two displays.
