I have -
Imac 24", 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
About a week ago when I awakened the mac from sleep it had a hard time connecting to the wireless internet. And if you tried to do anything on the computer while it was trying to connect the beachball would show and not leave. After shutting down the mac and restarting - everything is OK and it immediately connects to the wireless internet. Any ideas?

I've had this mac for over a year and this has never happened before. Now it happens all the time. Is there a setting for the wireless connection?

after waking up, if you hold the curser over the menu icon for the wireless the beachball will show - if you put the curser anywhere else on the screen no beachball - then if you try to open an app like iPhoto - a beachball for iPhoto shows and won't go away. The work around is to shut the computer down after each time.
