Hi

Every so often my iMac seems to go into a weird state where everything starts to stop responding, when this happens I'm not doing anything that requires a lot of resources, Im just browsing in Safari.

What happens is I click on tabs in a webpage and nothing happens I then try other sites and so on and the more things I start to click it gets worse, I then try closing safari and it stops responding to my commands, then I try other programs like mail and the same thing, I can't even put the iMac to sleep by putting cursor in bottom corner.

The reason I start to notice it in Safari is because when I drag the cursor over drop down fonts in forums for example, nothing happens, and from there I realise my iMac is starting to crap out on me again.

I have to force restart the iMac.

It doesn't happen that often, I would say it's happened about 4 times for me so far on Catalina OS.

My iMac is not exactly slow either I have 16gb ram and SSD.

Really annoying issue and wondering if this something that other have experienced and if they know a fix?

Thanks
