Hey there I have a few questions (In lead up to Lion :D)

a. Is a mac able to access more then one source of internet at one time? (ie: A USB mobile internet, and an iphone internet either via bluetooth or USB cord)

b. Say i'm connected to both of these, if one drops (say USB due to lack of service) will the imac continue downloading whatever file (lets say lion OS) from the other connection?

Thanks.

hard to tell if Lion will keep doing it or not, but SL does a great job of it right now... (as long as they are controlled through network system prefs)

Even right now, if I am hard wired to our gigabit network and downloading a file, if I unplug the ethernet cord, my computer will almost immediately switch to the airport connection and take over.

Also, If I know I am going to be unplugging and don't want to risk it, or whatever reason, want my ethernet as my secondary or backup connection, I can goto network preferences and change the priority order.

Hope this helps
