imac wakes up to...

I set up my screen saver so that as soon as I point my mouse to the lower right corner of the monitor the screensaver starts. But I did notice on a few occasions that after the computer wakes, I first see the image of the screen saver. Normally, I expect just to see the desktop screen as opposed to the screen saver. Of course, after 2 seconds or so after fully waking up, the screen saver shot is replaced by the desktop.

I guess I just wanna make sure that this is normal? And that nothing is wrong w/ the graphics?
