hi.. ive updated my imac (i5, 21.5) to mountain lion 10.7.4. im experiencing the following issue. when it goes into sleep mode (screen sleep) and i hit a (magic) mouse click, or keyboard or power button to recover from sleep it 'often' doesn't come back first time. what happens is that the screen appears correctly for a second or two and then goes black again... typically a combination of pressing power a few times and keyboard power and/or keys does the trick and occasionally i need to do a proper restart.

ive got a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and have checked those settings to ensure that they are allowed to wake up the imac. I've also checked the energy saving settings and changed them to see if it improves (i do not want to set the screen sleep to Never), to no avail. this issue doesnt happen when i manually put the imac to sleep.

anyone else with this problem?

thx

not a mac one. i have a pc one which, when connected, breaks the magic mouse (or any mouse for that matter)
