I seem to have fouled something up replacing a hard drive in my 27" IMac. This is the third time I've replace a drive in an an iMac and I've not tun in to an issue before.

In this case before taking it apart. The iMac would boot to a flashing folder on the screen. I booted to an OS disk and noted that the hard drive was not visible in the disk utility.

I took removed the RAM. Took off the bevel, carefully disconnected three connections to the LCD, one a temp, another I assume is a video (lvds) at the bottom and attached with two screens and one at the top, more tricky connection to a circuit board.

I swapped out the drive carefully attaching the hard drove temp sensor and then reassembled.

But now it turns on, I here the start up chime, and it booting to the CD, but the screen is just a bright white blank.

So anyone had this issue before? What parts should I start buying to swap out first. I may have overly twisted the cable at the top connecting LCD to circuit board, but I inspected it an didn't see any damage. Any educated assistance is very much appreciated.
