iMac won't accept disc anymore. What's wrong?!

About 2 weeks ago I burned a CD and a DVD and didn't use the Superdrive again until last night. I tried to put a CD in the drive but it felt like another disc was in there (Which there isn't). It felt like something was in the way and it didn't suck the CD like it usually does. I have given it a little force but not too much out of fear of breaking it even more. Has anyone had this problem and if so what did you do to fix it? I'd rather not lug my 27 inch iMac to the apple store. ha.

Same thing happened to my wires 21.5 inch iMac on Thursday. Brought the machine to Apple on Friday and they replaced the drive over night. So your probably lugging it
