I have an intel iMac with Snow Leopard 10.6.7
Generally, I can borrow a movie DVD from the local store, and it plays, no problem.
I have just bought an Australian TV series in an Australian shop (ABC) - I live in Australia, but the disc goes into the computer, sits for a few seconds, then gets rejected.
- I have repaired permissions on the hard drive.
- I tried firing up Parallels to see if that would help. Nothing.
What can I try next?
Also, how can I find out what region my computer is set for?
BTW, I am not overly technical, so if you say (e.g.) check the PRAM I will have no idea where to start looking for that.
