Today we moved our computer into another room and connected it to an external projector display for a screening. It worked fine during the screening. We turned it off and brought it back to our office the same way it left but now it has stopped working. When we power on the HD starts whirring but there is no start-up sound and the screen stays blank (black). I've tried everything suggested by apple support - resetting SMU, using a different power cable, replacing RAM - to no avail.
Can anyone offer any suggestions on what could be causing this issue?
