I've got an imac 2008 2.8ghz core 2 duo which has recently been upgraded to Snow leopard OSX 10.6.7.

It started running slow so I did disk utility on the HD and it came up with error- disc needs to be repaired because of invalid file count and invalid directory count- drive is corrupt and needs to be repaired...

So I used the snow leopard boot disk, held c, and repaired it from disk utility.

Everything was sweet for 2 weeks now It's the same problem again, only this time it gets stuck on a white screen whenever I try to boot off the snow leapard disk holding c or command.

Comp is running ridiculously slow on boot up and sometimes you can't click on anything for ages.

Has anyone got any thoughts?

Thanks in advance..
