Imac won't print

The iMac recognizes the printer but shows that it is offline. I downloaded the driver for it (hopefully the correct one). The printer worked fine connected to my old PC. Thanks for any assistance in advance.

Did you add it in scanners and printers.

My imac has the exact same problem ! And yes I have selected it as a printer,tried different ports,downloaded a driver, and tried a different printer as well.

I had the same issue with a new 27 iMac yesterday (could not hold out anymore for the 2012 iMac, but that is another thread). I called Epson support; come to find out it was a defective USB cable. Switched out the USB cable while the Epson tech was on the line, and bingo...printer works.

Not Mac compatible

I found out through Samsung that the printer will not work with the Imac I have. Thanks again for all the assistance.
