Hello all. I've got a bit of a problem that I can't figure out. Was hoping somebody here has got an answer.

I've got an 2 GHz Intel iMac. For the past year, I've had Sprint Wireless Broadband Service. I have shared my internet connection with my other computers using my iMac. I would go to system prefs and share and tell it to share my connection using my Airport(older model). Everything was great. I had no problem sharing my connection with any computer that came to the house, Apple or PC.

Several days ago I switch wireless broadband service from Sprint to Alltel since signal is better where I live and therefore faster.

I now try to share my internet connection from my iMac in the exact same manner as before, but nothing gets shared. I can find the network created from my iMac on other computers, but when I open a browser on the other computers, the page will not load because "the server is not responding." Here's where it gets weird. I run network diagnostics on the computer trying to connect through my iMac and diagnostics says, "your internet connection is working properly."

Here's where it gets weirder. If I use my wireless broadband card on my G4 iBook and share the connection from the G4 iBook, everything is fine! All computers can share it's connection, including the iMac.

So, it seems there's a problem with sharing an internet connection from my iMac with my Alltel Card. I've done everything I know to do(which isn't much).

Does anybody have any ideas about what could be causing this? Please help if you know something.

Many many thanks in advance.

P.S. please try not to say call Alltel----nobody there seems to have heard of Apple besides the ones you eat
