So I put my iMac to sleep, and it seems like it's permanently.

I hear it start and shut down when I press the power button, but that's it.

The screen stays black / off. The keyboard won't connect (not with, not without cable). At least that's what I assume since the caps light won't go on/off when I press it.

Same goes for the mouse. No signal at all (red light at the bottom stays off).

Please help me!!

What model iMac do you have?

What sound do you hear when booting, and does it simply shut back off within a few seconds?
Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (or just unplug the power cord for a bit, then plug back in)
Press and release the power button. Hold Option-Command-P-R. If your iMac is more than 3 or 4 years old, you should get a boot chime sound. Keep holding the same 4 keys until you hear the chime 2 more times, then release the keys to allow a normal boot.
If it doesn't do anything different, and just shuts back off, then you might have a failed power supply.

No I shut it on off myself. It stays on if I don't turn it off.

I tried the command option p r one, but as I said, I don't have the feeling the keyboard is actually connecting.

I have an iMac of about 2 years old.

The sound is that standard sound it always makes when it starts up. With the copr combo I do not hear anything different.

Is it a 27" iMac (with removable RAM)? If so try removing all the RAM, which should force a POST error on startup. Then power off and replace the RAM and start again.

No, unfortunately I do not have removable ram. I just compared with the ones who do and my underside of the screen is a lot thinner and has no screws.

The 27-inch is, well, 27 inch screen. There's a door on the back, above the power cord. The RAM sticks can be removed easily.
But the 21.5-inch, yes, you have to cut through the tape that holds the enclosure together, then remove the logic board. Not a task for the timid...
