Hey guys, I'm really interested in getting a 27" imac.... I don't need it for anything specific. I am just one of those people that when I buy things I want to make sure I'm getting everything that people recommend so my stuff is top notch. So I'm getting ready to go to the apple store and not sure what things I should upgrade....I do want top notch, but not sure if I should upgrade some things third party? I was looking at the Dell xps and the lenovo As well, but I'm ready to do this! Thanks guys can't wait.....

Upgrade whatever you can afford and want to upgrade except the memory. It's very easy to add memory yourself and far cheaper.

yup, get the highest ssd capacity you can afford or fusion as it would be very difficult to upgrade this later on. (itwill void you warranty)
