I have 2 iMacs, a new M4 running the latest version of Tahoe and a late 2015 27" running Monterey. Both have their energy settings at the default values so they should NOT restart after a power failure. We've recently had two power failures in my area and on both occasions, both iMacs restarted as the power returned, despite being set not to. The power can be a bit flaky round here when it's windy (which it often is!) so I'd much rather the computers stayed off until I decide it's safe to reboot them.
I've tried to do some research into the issue but everything online seems to be from people wanting the opposite, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated :)
