iMacs unavailable from Apple Store Online

I didn't see this as a thread yet, so I hope it's ok I start one.

It looks like you can't order an imac from the Apple store. I couldn't even build one!

Apple has even apologized for the poor planning.

eh, this is, in fact, old news. Crazy news, but old. It's expected that the new G5 iMacs will be revealed at Paris Macworld expo at the end of August/beginning of September.

They anounced a couple weeks ago that there was a delay in the new G5 iMacs--until September. It was a big deal. Supplies on the current iMacs will run out.
