I recently had the firmware on my router updated. (It's a Westell from Verizon) After doing so, I got a new wireless encryption password, so I had to change the settings on all the machines in my house. I did, and everything is fine... except for my iMac.
When I startup the iMac, or wake it up after a long sleep, I'm not connected to the Internet anymore. So I have to go back into Network diagnostics, select my network, and re-type the new password. A couple of seconds after I do, the connection is back... at least until the next time I turn my computer off, and then I have to do it again. I've tried checking the "Remember this password" box and leaving it unchecked, no change.
This isn't a major problem, only an annoyance. I'm wondering if the problem is with Leopard's AirPort, because I also have an iBook G4 running Tiger and a WinXP laptop, and they do not have this problem.
