Is it a good time to buy one now? I heard some rumors about a chipset/gfx card/ram upgrades sooooonish? Looking at the 20' one....

That chipset is called Santa Rosa.
If you don't need the computer right now, at least wait for WWDC which will take place in June (11-15). WWDC is not that far away, so wait for that.

Quite likely. If you check the Buyer's Guide, the iMacs are overdue for an update.
