iPod touch Image Capture and iPod Touch?

Check this out. I opened Image Capture to scan something and I noticed that my iPod Touch came up as a camera. Do you think you'll be able to download stuff from the iPod in the future (such as movies or photos) and then upload them to the computer with Image Capture? Also, could this be a sign that the iPod Touch still thinks it's an iPhone and is trying to treat it like it's a camera?
