Image Capture - sharing after reboot?

I've set up one Mac to share a scanner from Image Capture, and this works nicely across my network. However, when I reboot the Mac with the scanner, the share needs to be manually re-established. Given that this Mac is acting as my headless server, it's quite a nuisance. Is there a way to automatically reshare the scanner following a reboot?
