Image Capture

I've got a Lexmark 2500 series printer hooked up. When I scan something the "Image Capture" program opens it and reads it just fine. However, I can't figure out how to save the scan?

I believe you need to select the portion of the preview you want to actually scan and then push the "Scan" button. That said, I haven't used Image Capture to scan, so I'm just guessing based on previous scanning experience with other programs.

If you look at your screen grab you will see
Source Size: 0 0 pixels
New Size: 0 0 pixels…

So as killmoms said, you have to select what you want to scan first.

Yep, select what you want to scan and it will save it per what you selected on the right hand dialogue box side of the app.
