iOS Image copyrights... -google

Hi,
I have a question, I took a few pictures from google for my application and I wish to know if it's possible that I'll get sued for using these pictures?
is there a way to know?
should I consult a lawyer?
anyone knows from experience?

Yes, it's more than possible. Unless the images were explicitly listed as being in the public domain then the copyright on them is held by the creator and they can sue you.
