Image data from Internet

A bit of a random question.

I've got an iphone 5 and my colleague has a 4S.

If I save a photo off a gallery off Internet and run it through exif viewer I get all the details of the photo aperture, iso etc etc

If my colleague saves the exact same photo he gets no exif data at all.

I've followed the same links on phones exactly with several photos. Mine shows them his doesnt.

Any reasons as to why??

Both using safari.
