iOS image distortion in iOS ?

Hi,

I want to write some iPhone code app that distorts images, such as Lens Distortion (http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/plug-in-lens-distortion.html) or Curve Bend of GIMP (http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/plug-in-curve-bend.htmlz).

Does iOS come with such APIs? Are there such open source libs?

I don't know how to do these kinds of things, but I suspect that looking into Core Image, Core Graphics, OpenGL ES, and possibly Core Animation would be a good place to start...
