iPhone 14 Pro Image preview processing delay?

There seems to be a delay in processing images on my 14 pro (16.0.2) right after taking them. Starts out blurry and then sharpens up after a second or two. Is this normal? I didn't notice this on my 12 pro.

Same thing happening on my new iPhone 14 - did you learn anything about why this happens? Or did it stop after a while? Thanks
