So it's Xmas and I'm now getting emails with 1+Mb files in them. My mom has a Mac but I don't think she's using iPhoto to manage her photos and the resizing features in Preview are too much for her to deal with, apparently.

I'm looking for names of very easy Mac apps that have drag-and-drop simplicity to resize and batch-resize to specific dimensions and/or to a specific file size. Suggestions?

Drag the picture into the compose window, bottom right there is an option that gives you similar options to iOS mail (actual size, large, medium and small)

Preview's Export window has a slider that adjusts quality and displays file size. Should work with a bit more control than the good solution posted above.

She doesn't use Mail, she insists on using webmail.

That's why I'm asking for a dead-easy app request.

As I said in my initial post she doesn't get using Preview.

Any recommendations for a simple drag-and-drop app?

Honestly I would set up mail for her and show her how 'simple' it is ;)
