So I switched a buddy to Mac, convinced him to sell his PC and upgrade to a Macbook Air.

He does a lot of editing in WYSIWYG editors on the web.

Ever since he's switched to Safari from IE, he keeps asking me to help him figure out how to click-drag-and-resize images inside the editor on a Mac.

Apparently, on IE, you can just click on the corner of an image in the text box and drag to resize it..

Can't seem to replicate this functionality on a Mac, tips/advice?

He's been encountering this issue in MailChimp and Repost123.com, which both appear to use the TinyMCE editor.

Now what?

(Thanks for the reply!)

From what I found via Google, others have had this problem with TinyMCE. Your friend can try making sure he has the latest Safari, and can also try using Firefox, Chrome, or Opera to see if those are compatible. I saw a lot of results for people having issues with resizing images.

Thanks!

I discovered that it doesn't work in Safari or Chrome, probably due to WebKit, but it does on Gecko, so I just installed Firefox on my friend's machine and that got the job done!
