Image Sync

Hello,

I have iTunes set up to sync my pictures to a particular folder on my PC. I am able to copy all the contents of that folder (and 1-layer deep subfolders) on to my phone with no problems.

My question is, how come I cannot get the pictures that are on the camera roll on my phone to copy over to that folder on my PC? Its only working one way...PC > Phone not Phone >PC.

I realize the phone comes up as an external camera drive on my PC and I can just copy and past them that way, but the ability to do a transparent sync would make my life easier.
