I use Firefox (which is up to date), on my Mac laptop running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Sign in images for Get Glue are absent, but the cursor find the space they occupy and I can sign in. Boxes there, which formerly held "like" "dislike" or "favorite" are black, but still able to be acted upon, just not able to see the action I'm taking. My yahoo mail has no icons. Instead there are square boxes which vaguely resemble line drawings of dominoes.

Firefox says my Java is out of date, and should be version 7.3. The Java site says that Apple supplies it's own Java for OS 10.6. I looked up software, and apparently Java was updated on the 22 of October. But this was occurring before the update, and no change after.

Any suggestions?

I just checked this out using Safari instead of Firefox. No problem with Safari (aside from its slowness and hanging on to information whether I want it to or not). So it seems it's just with Firefox alone.
