Images (smart folder?) auto appearing on desktop

In the last day or two when I take a screenshot or save an image to the desktop, a folder titled "Images" is auto generated. I'm not used to it and really don't like it. Anyone know where the preference is to get rid of it?

I figured it out. Option clicking on the desktop showed a "use stacks" option. I turned that off.
