iMagnify Application for iPhone was just launched and is officially up for download in the App Store and at iTunes.
With the touch of a button, your iPhone magically turns into a magnifying glass. Now you don't have to fumble around for your reading glasses because iMagnify eliminates those everyday annoyances. No need to squint at the fine print!

4x Zoom
2048x1536 resolution
Auto-focus enabled.
Low Lux adjustment which brightens the screen when you are in darker areas.

No other App compares to iMagnify.
You will be stunned when you see how clear it is!
See it for yourself :)

Guerilla marketing at its finest...

The app does look interesting. There are other apps that let you do zooming on the camera, but I haven't bought any of those. I think they're just taking a different marketing angle with saying its a magnifier. I predict there will soon be many copycats.

Requires iPhones running 3.1. I would buy it but my phones are not running 3.1 and I won't upgrade yet.

...someone is tethering.

I miss tethering. :(

But then again I have NetShare...which is not nearly as easy to use or stable.

Not tethering, just jailbroken on my 3GS.

I'm surprised that 3.1 isn't broken on 3GS. Has Apple finally stopped them?

I finally feel like my iPhone is feature complete as of 3.1, so I'm considering JB when 3.1 is cracked. I want stacks, tethering, bossprefs, and that lock screen notification thing.

Eh I might try it if it was .99 - but I personally don't have a need for it. Looks like it will be useful for those that might carry around a pocket magnifier to look at things.

Someone who reviewed it must be a beta tester or something because they claim they use the app all the time (and it was just released)

On the downside - you can't burn little holes in paper with this app like you can with a magnifying glass ;)
