iMail problem, in switzerland and cant email out!

hey, im in switzerland at the moment on vacation and using famliys wireless, all works fine apart from i cant send email. i get an error telling me it cant connect to the server for my email (blueyonder) pop.3 account? i can recieve email so its working, this also happens at university but i thought that was jsut a problem there.

can anyone help me out?

Blueyonder probably authenticate their email so that you are only sending from their network - many ISPs do this to stop spam. Some allow you to authenticate your mail with your username/password so you can send via their servers from another connection. Check in your account settings for your outbounder server settings, set the authentication to password and enter your ISP username/password and see if that works.

If not, you'll probably just have to send via webmail
