iMail just started placing messages from one particular sender in the Trash folder. I created a new rule instructing it to place messages from that sender in the inbox, with highlighting. No dice.
Any ideas?

You probably set it up wrong.

how do I fix it?

I already got into iMail rules and created a new rule that instructed it to put the emails from that sender into the inbox. Didn't' work. Any other ideas?

fixed it

okay, this is weird. I went into my gmail settings, and then to the filters. Gmail had added two filters to the end of my list....for two friends' email addresses. I couldn't have done it; I didn't know gmail HAD filters. I've never been to the "settings" space. I did manage to delete those two addresses from my gmail filters, but now I'm wondering if I have to check them regularly to make sure they aren't doing it again.
WTF?

thought it was imail

I would've, but I thought it was iMail, which I knew had rules and put stuff in the Junk Folder (but never Trash until now).
