I have lost my iphone but have had it blocked but can they still use the mp3 player or apps that dont need internet access?

If the IMEI is blocked, they will just be unable to activate it for service in the country it was stolen from. They can still use it as an iPod/app device.

Yes, they can still use it for anything but the phone part.
Or sell it anywhere outside the UK where it can be used with other carriers sims.
But I wouldnt worry much about it anyway, its not going to make any difference to you in the end its still gone.
 
Too bad they don't have IMEI blocking in the US. No one cares if they steal your phone here. :D

And yea, they will just use the iPhone as an iPod. No phone use.
