me and my fiancee have imessage account that we do not use much.
Yesturday morning she sent me a message from her ipad air 2 to my imessage (email) account.
I was on my imac most the day and imessage is set to start on boot and it does and pops up on boot which I close (yes I know I can hide it).
However her message never came through.
Today at work I turned my macbook on and up came imessage on boot and her message.
My question is why did the imac not get the message?
As far as I know they both have same settings for imessage and use my email account, where my phone uses my number but imessage is off on the phone as do not use it on phone, as we have unlimited texts.
Is it because I do not sign out of imessage on the macbook when I shut down?
