Looking for an alternative to imessage. Our daughter texts her cousins on our ipad. We like being able to see the messages on our iPhone but don't like her being able to see other messages coming in to us. Is there another app available that will allow users to see messages on both devices?

You can setup multiple send and receive addresses with iMessage.
Setup one address for her to use, and separate addresses for yourselves. You can configure iMessage on your phones so you are included in the conversations from her address, but setup the iPad so it isn't included on the conversations from your addresses.
