iMessage - Apple ID and phone number linking.

I think this is the right subforum for this.

So I've been playing around with the iOS 6 GM and was wondering how the iMessage link to phone number feature works. When I receive an iMessage, it doesn't show up on my Mac. Should this work right now or do we have to wait for a Mountain Lion update?

Yeah, i think there needs to be a mountain lion update since there's currently no way to associate a phone number with Messages on the Mac version.

Mountain Lion 10.8.2 will bring the unification to Mac.

Has anyone got ths working with iOS 6 and 10.8.2 ?

Using iOS 6 GM and 10.8.2 12C53. Tried turning iMessage on and off on the phone, deleted configuration and re-set up iMessage on Mac. phone number won't show on the Mac.

It's been working perfectly for me since the first 10.8.2 beta, with io6 b4 and now GM.
