I updated yesterday (after about 10 tries to activate). Today I am trying to use some of the apps that I don't use everyday. Why so difficult? iMessage wanted me to sign in with my Apple ID and password. So I did and I get the message that it can't connect and to check my network connection. It is fine. Anybody else having this issue? Any ideas how to get this to cooperate? Maybe its still the Apple servers overloaded, but sometimes someone has figured out a way around an issue.

Yes, I'm getting this too. I'm guessing the authentication server for iMessage is overwhelmed.

I had this and tried everything (restoring, resetting network settings, changing DNS, rebooting etc. etc.) and in the end just left it toggled on and waited. It's just started working again. It was probably left for about 5 hours.
