So for some reason when I get an iMessage through….it does come through ok but it doesn’t notify me through any notification
I’ve tried to see if any settings have changed but I’m not sure why it’s doing it

Is there anything I can try?

Similar issue. My phone doesn't vibrate, nor does the screen light up when a notifications comes in. If I wear my watch, the watch doesn't even notify me.

I only know I have a message when I tap the screen.

Went from the last version of iOS15 on my 13 Pro to iOS16.4 two days ago and it's one of the many issues I noticed right away.

This has been happening to me with verification texts (containing a code to log into a website, etc.). I wondered if it may be a security feature

maybe its related, but since last year...if you are near/working on a mac that also receive your messages, than your iphone will just show on your screen the message without any ping or light up display . This was a "feature" requested because it was annoying every your device to ping for a message etc
So from priority its mac>ipad>iphone and watch

Oh that’s interesting; it definitely happens when I’m sitting at my computer… but the text doesn’t come thru to the Messages app on the Mac either, no SMS messages do (just iMessages), not sure why?
