Anyone else having problems with iMessage today? Everyone of my contacts with iPhones cannot send/recieve iMessages. And usually iPhone will automatically switch to a SMS if it cannot send as an iMessage. It keeps trying to send it, the message balloon stays blue, but it never sends. Anyone else having similar issues today?

Something is very wierd with Apple and iMessage. I turned iMessage off, waited a bit and turned it back on...All I get is "waiting for activation"..Never connects. And Apple's site is down as well, which I noticed after i clicked "learn more" in iMessage settings and it directed me to apples's site which it couldn't connect to because it said I wasn't connected to the internet...Which I am (via wi-fi) and it's working fine other then apple.com. I can't believe others aren't having any issues? Everyone I've contacted with iphones is having same problem.

iMessage is working for me. I just sent a test one out to a friend.

I did the same on my iPhone and iPad, working fine.

Not having any problems today but I often have problems with iMessage in general. Messages will not send and not alert me of the failure, or send as texts by themselves. The network seems very unstable. Often I have to switch airplane mode on and off and then try again, and usually that works.

hmm...This is what I am getting after trying to re-start imessage. Just stuck. Same exact thing with 2 other guys working with me. Weird!!

Odd. My wife and iMessage back and forth all day and haven't had any problems ever other than when I first set it up on my iPad because it wasn't syncing it properly until I switched my preferred "Caller ID" to my Apple ID instead of my phone number.

I had issues today as well. I logged off of iMessages and logged back in. Took a while for the activation process to finish but it eventually said my phone was verified.

iMessage is working fine for me. Whenever it acts up I turn my phone off then on. Does the trick. I don't really have problems with iMessage like some other people I know.

Mine is doing something weird, when it turns off (because the battery drains out) both iMessage and FaceTime become unsuccessfully activated. I have to turn both on again every time.
