iMessage down?

Is it down? I've sent messages today and they are hanging on the sending bar about 90% full. No delivered status yet. I also haven't been receiving them yet today which is odd.

Tried shutting off/on the phone and reactivating imessage. Anyone else's down as well? Any other steps to take to fix it?

It could be a local carrier problem. Some of my T-Mo friends send me a message and I do not get it till the next day.

did you actually hard reboot your phone or just turn it off/on

had some GMail hanging up and a reboot fixed it
