Can anyone explain to me why I am seeing the option to enable / disable Messages Extension Plugin option on iOS 10.3.2 (pic attached)? It only appears on my phone, and not on my iPad. It was enabled when I noticed it - I disabled it.
I did some searching, and it appears as though this allows some apps to access APIs for iOS, but I find no mention as to whether or not this option should be exposed to the end user.
If you're not sure how to answer this question, I would appreciate it if you would post back, and tell me if this option is available to you. Here's how to check:

- Open Messages, tap

- Tap , then tap

- Tap in the lower-left corner to open the app drawer.
