Hi guys here's the scene.
My dad bought an IPad wifi version. He has an apple ID / icloud ID with country as US.
We were happily using iMessage and FaceTime.

My father is currently on a trip to India and will be there for a few months. Unfortunately his iMessage/facetime has stopped working even though he is successfully latched on to net.

There are many threads on google but each has his own method but they are not working, I did try a few.

Anybody here faced this problem ?
Any solutions. ?

Is his wifi airtel?

I've used FaceTime in multiple countries in Asia. It's likely he needs to sign in or pay for the Internet first. Have him open safari and go to google. A login window will probably show up.

No, his broadband provider is Hathway

Actually he is at my relatives and is using their wifi connection at their home.
His iPad otherwise works perfectly fine and he can browse, check mails and get his apps to work. It's only iMessage and FaceTime that doesn't work.
